This ain’t your

grandpa’s Chapel

Our Story

The Wolfville Wedding Chapel started with a simple question: what if getting married actually felt good?

Before the Chapel, I (Sarah) was bopping around Nova Scotia marrying couples through East Coast Pop-Up Weddings: tiny ceremonies, zero fluff, all the big feels. And somewhere along the way, it became clear that small weddings weren’t the backup plan: they were THE plan.

So instead of dragging couples through ancient traditions they didn’t ask for, I flipped the script: what if getting married was easy, stylish, joyful – and done in under an hour?

In June 2021, the Wolfville Wedding Chapel opened right here on Main Street in Wolfville.

Since then, over 400 couples have gotten married at the Chapel. And we’re just getting started.

The Chapel is the right fit for you if:

  • You want a wedding that feels intentional, not overwhelming

  • You value the experience over the spectacle

  • You want to actually enjoy your wedding day

  • You’re open to having a smaller guest list in the name of saving your sanity

  • You want a space that welcomes and celebrates every kind of love

  • You’re looking to plan a 100+ guest event

  • You want the 12-hour, big-wedding timeline

  • You want a day that is strictly traditional with a more formal structure

  • You want to micro-manage every little detail yourself

The Chapel probably isn’t the right fit for you if:

A little bit about Wolfville…

Wolfville already knows how to have a good time.

The town is straight out of a Hallmark movie: walkable, wine-adjacent, and built for turning “just us” into a whole dang weekend. You can get married, take photos, pop champagne, and then stroll downtown arm-in-arm, straight into married life. No seating chart required.

What the Chapel feels like:

Located right on Main Street, the Chapel allows couples to show up looking cute, get married, and then step right into their next chapter together.

It’s indoors, climate-controlled, and never a question of “should we order a tent just in case it rains?” (looking at you, Nova Scotia weather).

It’s Vegas wedding chapel energy meets Annapolis Valley soul. Modern. Romantic. Zero pressure. And a whole lotta sparkle and shine.

Not anti-tradition – just pro-choice.
